GP Star Niels-Kristian Iversen led his Esbjerg team to a consecutive Danish Superleague title on Wednesday night at their home track.
Esbjerg topped the league table heading into a four-way grand final which also saw Fjelsted, Holsted and Slangerup take part with their top four finishes.
Iversen scored 14 points as Mikkel Bech also impressed with 12 points as Esbjerg totalled 41 points on the night, and retained the title they won it last season.
Team manager Ib Pedersen told speedway-league.com: “It is fantastic that we win again. We have been the best team throughout the season. It is always difficult to win the second time, especially because we have changed little in the team compared to last year, ”
Peter Kildemand bagged 16 points for his side Fjelsted who just edged out Nicki Pedersen’s Holsted team. With both teams finishing on 37 points, Fjelsted’s high finishing place in the league gave them silver on the night.
